O norte-americano John Moyer, de 60 anos, foi condenado pela Justiça acusado de apalpar uma mulher enquanto ela trabalhava vestida de ‘Minnie’, namorada de ‘Mickey’, na Disney World, em Orlando, no estado da Flórida (EUA), segundo a emissora de TV "Local 6 News".

Ele foi condenado a 180 dias de condicional, 50 horas de serviços comunitários e multa de US$ 1 mil (cerca de R$ 1,84 mil). O homem também deve ser submetido a uma avaliação de saúde mental e escrever uma carta de desculpas à vítima.

Após a sentença, Moyer continuava a alegar sua inocência. “Eu não sou culpado", disse Moyer para o juiz. Ele afirmou que não molestou ‘Minnie’, destacando que pode ter tocado nela de forma involuntária.

Moyer foi acusado em junho pela mulher de ter tocado em seus peitos e nádegas. Durante o julgamento, os promotores mostraram fotografias que mostrariam “Minnie” empurrando as mãos de Moyer após ter sido apalpada por ele.

O advogado do réu, Zahra Umansky, alegou que as fotos só provam que seu cliente estava se divertindo durante as férias com sua família. Segundo ele, os seguranças que vigiam os personagens não presenciaram nada inadequado.
